Join our May 2014 Learn to Speed Skate Program

If you have the need for speed, you are at the right place! You saw the coolest sport on ice at the Olympics in Sochi and now you want to give it a try? We have it all prepared for you!

Come and try speed skating with the Toronto Speed Skating Club, register to our Learn to Speed Skate Program scheduled to start in May 2014. Skates are provided for the duration of the Program. Don’t delay as out April sessions are now completely SOLD OUT! .

Our May program is now completely SOLD OUT, and we are taking pre-registrations for our Fall programs beginning September

Our certified coaches provide an inclusive and exciting experience in which are taught the basics of speed skating and the fun of racing on skates, in a safe and supportive environment.

Who can join All ages (5+) – must be comfortable with the basics of skating

Required Equipment

(to be supplied by the participant)

Helmet (a bike or hockey helmet is fine for LTSS)

Gloves (ideally cut-proof but leather is fine)

Neck guard (hockey neck guard is fine for LTSS)

Knee pads (in-line skating or volleyball knee pads are fine)

Shin pads (soccer style shin pads are acceptable)

We offer winter programming should you wish to join the club following your introduction program. Our programming caters to youth and masters, as well as recreational and competitive skaters. Note that skate rental is free of charge for the first season once you join the club.

Registration will be confirmed (and group assigned) via e-mail once your form and cheque are received.
